what causes air explosion of oil all over you and tractor and ground when opening the filler cap or drain plug.tryed it with tractor
running or not running.doesnt happen every time, always unexpected. very unpleasant....please some one explain ,,........and how to
drain fluild with out spitting up.......is it sucking air and then being under pressure, waiting till i open something.would a stuck releif
valve cause that or something as simple as no washer under filler cap.this block did not have a washer. under cap..thanks for any
help............ dewy

Dewey, don't know what Farmall tractor you have, but on a Cub hydraulic system you must open the fill plug to release pressure before removing the drain plug. [size=9:92ae77d446]Don't ask me how I know this.[/size:92ae77d446]

Owner's manual tells you it's going to have pressure in it, about all you need to know.

Sound's like pressure relieve valve in block is sticking sometimes, excessively pressurizing the whole block!
