international 424 what type and size are these fittings? inlet to valve from pump and auxillary outlet seem to be the same size? seem real close to 1/2 pipe thread but they are straight thread with a washer

When you said "with a washer" that makes me think of a fitting called ORB, which stands for O Ring Bore, I think. These will have an O ring near the open end, then a flat washer, and the angled fittings will have a jam nut, which locks the fitting in position, as well as forces the O ring down into the bore of the machined hydraulic component.
You can look at these fittings at the Surplus Center of Lincoln, Nebraska. They have a wb site that will show all kinds of adaptor fittings, including ORB to NPT fittings.

The size of the connections are 1/2 inch BSP with a flat Dowty washer as a seal. MJ
