Went to the farm today

Went to the farm today, got a couple tractors out. The farm where I live is where I work on the equipment, the other, where my dad lives, is where all of our stuff is stored. The H was last used sawing firewood probably 6 years ago. I rebuilt the engine in it probably 15 years ago, and we used it for sawing firewood and pulling a grain drill. Has a Super H kit in it, whoever did the first one must have put the SH decals on it. I last used the TD6 about 4 years ago skidding logs when the coolant in the radiator started bubbling on a hard pull. So, I either cracked the head or popped the head gasket. It still runs very smooth, only bubbles after its good and warm, (doesn't get very warm just moving it around) doesn't put coolant in the oil so that's a good thing. Just haven't had the time to tear into it. I have a good head off my parts MD, but that one is for my other MD that has an external crack on it. If I take the head off the TD6 and find that it IS cracked, I'll probably stitch the external crack on the MD head and use that one for the TD6. I don't like the janky blade on the TD6, but it does work ok. The TD6 has low hours on a rebuilt pump and engine, and brand new looking tracks, so much so that some of the P&B's are now kinked up since its been setting. Good thing I used to do track work. I was thinking of taking the diesel out of the TD6, and putting an M has engine in it, but I just love that little diesel.

I think:

1 - 1 1/2 MPH
2 - 2
3 - 3
4 - 4
5 - 5

Not totally sure on that, but I remember hearing that somewhere....

I feel like they are a little but like our HG crawler, too fast even in 1st gear. 1st should be slower than it is for maneuvering around things. With the hand clutch, hand throttle, two steering clutch levers, and 2 foot applied steering brakes, you are pretty busy lol, especially if running the blade and in tight quarters.

Looks like the Bucyrus Erie blade my TD-14A had on it. When all the joints get loose it can be a challenge to pull the slack out of the linkage as soon as the blade bites.
