Three Point Bleeds Down Overnight

Just got done replacing my frame rails on my 41" H. Now I notice that my 3 point hitch bleeds down after I leave it in the up position overnight. I put it back in the barn last night in the raised position and nothing attached. It is a Saginaw unit, and it has never done that before. Most likely in the belly pump? Any ideas? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks again.

Just my judgement, but a tiny leak that lets it down overnight is in my opinion, not worthy of worrying about. If it let it down an a minute or two, maybe. If it is a big deal, you can buy these clamps that fit around the hydraulic shaft and hold it up all the time, in various lengths.

It is either a leak in the control valve or in the cylinder, I would not worry if it is that slow. How long does it take to settle with a full load, like big bale on it?

David,
I haven't tried it with a bushhog on it since I repaired the throw-out bearing. I had to remove the pump to access the internals. I will try it with a load on it probably Monday afternoon. I'll let the forum know the results. Thanks for asking.
