10-20 Manifold Studs

studs is ideal. as you want to protect the head threads. and when heat is involved the use of a brass nut is ideal also. this prevents nuts seizing to the stud, and makes removal easy. a bolt will work but its not a great idea.

Or you can make your own,, buy a grade 5 or 8 bolt, cut the head off, and put the threads u need on the other end.

I see no actual reason why not. It's not like it is some sort of highly-torqued engine bolt. It just holds on a manifild and squeeezes down a gasket. I'd think the correct size Grade 8 bolt and a thick washer, would work great. I would sure lube the threads with a high-temp lube, moly anti-seize or the like. Post your results back here if it works.
