Farmall A - Is this Steering Arm bent?

Hi Guys, I'm restoring a Farmall A. Now that I've got the steering assembly apart I'm looking at the Steering Arm and I can't tell if it is bent (see pic - section where the Tie Rods connect). Is it supposed to be this way due to the tractor offset. Can anyone with an A or familiarity with this part weigh in for me? Thanks, Jim

Here is the PIC....I Hope...I cropped the crap out of it so only a bit of the arm is showing, put you get the idea.

Take the time to find someone with a hydraulic press, ie, a machine shop. Set it up carefully then slowly bring the ram down on it , bending it a little at a time. Try to find another arm which is not bent so you can compare the two.

You can use a photo editor to resize to reduce the number of pixels instead of cropping if you were trying to get the bit count down.

Nothing is suposed to happen, but it can iron forgings have grain structure and heating modifies that . Sometimes not much. Jim
