B-275 hydraulic pressure

I've had a 1960 B-275 for a year now. The hydraulics have been sketchy since I've own it. I just rebuild the lift with every new part I could purchase and had a new cylinder made. The only thing I couldn't find was a new non-return valve and seat. It seems the hydraulics are a little slow. My pressure is 1875 psi at full throttle. My manual states that the pressure should be 2050-2250. My question is, should I buy a new pump? Would I notice a difference in another 200-400 psi? My current pump is a Sauer Danfoss unit. I believe it was replaced in '02.

Hi, re 1850 PSI is probably the spec for a B-275. To make good hydraulics you require pressure and flow. So to thoroughly test a hydraulic system a flow rater meter is required.

It would appear that spring item #7 controls the hydraulic pressure.

After using the hydraulics for hours, the psi is 1700. Spec calls for 2050-2250. I'm trying to figure out if #7 in the picture you provided or the pump is the issue. There is a pressure relief plate in the pump also.
