Since my last post I have accuired a good 113 block and head for my 53 Super A. The destruction is complete, we have completely dissassembled the tractor, broken down into workable sections, the process a cleaning and determining what needs to be replaced prior to re-assembly. The sleeves have been replaced in the new block along with new main bearings and rear main seal. Rod bearings will be in tomorrow, then we will install the pistons and rings. Next comes the front seal and the crank pulley. Both the pulleys that I have are fitted with ready sleeves, going to check with NAPA tomorrow and see if they can get me a new one. Will be purchasing a new clutch and pressure plate, then get the engine and front end re-united along with the Torque tube and transmission. I have some issues with the final seals, mostly the light side final. Getting those ordered today along with a final drive gasket set for both sides. Once these main pieces are reassembled, we will be prepping the ole girl for paint.
