Farmall BN transmission growl

I replaced the seals/gaskets on my BN and now I have a transmission growl in 1st through 4th gears. The growl is much louder in 3rd and 4th than in 1st and 2nd. The growl is definitely transmission not final drives. Is it a bearing?

Put a load on the tractor and see of the noise changes? There are straight cut gears that make noise in there but you could also have bad bearings.

It might be possible to cause that issue if the front main was disturbed when replacing the seal. (just an idea, they pretty much all make gear noise. a growl that changes over time is not good. Jim
