I have a 1941 Farmall H. I pulled the out the PTO to replace the seal. I didn't see how you could replace the seal without pulling the shaft like people say. I pulled the whole shaft out to replace the seal. I put the new seals in. I put the shaft back in. It seemed to go right back in and I can turn the PTO from the outside. But then when I tighten up the faceplate bolts, I can't turn the PTO at all engaged or disengaged. With the tractor running it just makes grinding noises when I let the clutch out. I've loosened it and tried to put it back in several times. It seems to line up and go right in. Thanks for any tips.
