Hayfarmer, if there was an easy way to get 500,000 gallons of water out of our fields and out to yours, we'd gladly trade that and more for 2000 small square bales of hay. If you send the truck, I'll start drilling fence post holes - at ~30" in most places here each will flow about 2-3 gallons an hour. There's a hand dug well behind the house at about 10' deep that was used to fill a swimming pool, and it did it with ease except in the driest of years. Need water? Take ours, please!
