Farmall 460 Hydra Touch Cable

Got called to go look at a 1958 gas 460 a friend bought. Immaculate original condition, with 2835 hours showing on the working tach.
Never seen such a beautiful, original one in my life.
He was concerned that the Fast Hitch stays on pressure at either extreme of travel.
A quick check found the feedback cable seized and broken, and the local IH dealer says no longer available.
Anyone know of an aftermarket source, or have a good used one around?

Cable was replaced with rod linkage in about 1960 so the parts system used what cables were in stock and after that all were replaced with rods. Takes a little conversion to put rod on but makes for a much better hitch control system.

Well, after a busy summer, I'm finally getting back to this one.
Found cable was not broken, just seized up. Soaked in diesel fuel and cleaned and lubed and works as it should.
Got it back together, and I'm perplexed. Hitch cycles up and down, and I can move the arm on the slip clutch that is activated by the vertical rod from the cylinder mount, making hitch come on / off pressure, but that vertical Rod doesn't move enough to operate the cable!
LBasically, everything works right, but that vertical Rod doesn't move. I can't move it by hand, and everything looks right on the cylinder mount where it attaches.

Any ideas what's going on here?
