super c serial number

Good evening everbody. My super c has a serial number 111657-18, any reason for the 18 suffix? Thanks.

The parts book only gives letter codes.

tag, I should've used the camera earlier I
have mis-read the number....its 111057.

The 18 is part of the Max Idle RPM stamp of 1815.

Thanks. The tags quite rough on it, unlike
my M. We're in the process of dullin' her
up a bit for the steam show in Aug.
