So finally got this 1066 outta the shop for a test drive! Now after I
got every thing adjusted I think and hope right! And now since I have
a tractor that the torque tel light that actually works you know the
red one! should it blink when the handle is pulled from direct drive
to ta? Just wondering hoping nothin is wrong before I put it to work!

There is a pressure drop in lube circuit when shifting the TA and a sensitive sending unit will often blink the light. If it stays out at lower engine speeds you are ok. If really concerned, put a gauge in the spot of the lube light sender and see if you have good pressure in the 18 to 22 psi range at rpms above about 1000rpms. Some times the sending unit is replaced with the wrong one and that will blink a light more readily. It should be a 4 psi sender.

Here is an explanation of the lights operation from the repair manual.
