cub wont fire

changed the head gasket and re set the valves on my wifes cub now it wont fire...getting spark and fuel checked the points too and re checked the plug wires for 1342 firing order thats ok too

what else ?????????

I DO NOT know how much you know about farmall, etc. firing order 1 3 4 2 , plug wires go in clockwise order on the distributor cap.

#1 is at radiator. If the plugs are dry, put a teaspoon of fuel in each plug hole and give it a whirl. Jim

sounds like, maybe that the valve adjustment is not correct. that is if nothing else was changed. probably would be good to find someone nearby , to help you a bit.

Number "1" wire should be at the 2oclock position too. It is going to be something stupid when you find it.
