So just outta curiousity how much hp does it take to pull a 15ft no till drill. Like a GP solid stand 15? Just talking back and fourth with a few friends of mine and a couple of them think my 706 with the 310 German would pull one. Not fast but pull it. What do you think? It's got a 310 combine motor with few major overhaul on it

Maybe more than power would be the ability to lift it and keep the front wheels on the ground.

We pulled a 12' gp no till drill with an 886 no issues so I think your 706 will be ok. Tongue weight will not be an issue they are pretty evenly balanced. Duals on a 706 would be highly recommended.

With duals and weights we pulled a 15' JD 750 drill with an 806d. It handled it ok but would dig and pawl on the bigger hills. I think you could pull it but would need to be extra careful when the drill is loaded on hills and turns.

GP drills are ridiculously heavy. We are pulling a 30' drill with a 8330.

I pulled one with a 766 diesel and it slipped the wheels on the banks. I don't think I would want to with a 706. The 766 is quite a bit heavier.
