Super A Front Rims replacement

I ordered a set of front rims for my 1950 Super A from Yesterdays tractors. The original rims that are on the tractor have three large keepers that attach the rim to the hub. The new rims have welded on lugs to attach the rims to the hub. The new rims to not align up properly , nor do that slide completely on the hub. My question is did I get the wrong rims, do they need to be ground down where the lugs are welded on, or do I need to grind off the lugs.

I'd call Y-T and ask them what to do since they should be under warranty. Good chance they came from the land of almost right so that is why they are not right

Sounds like your original rims were non-adjustable loose lug rims. Your replacements are adjustable and have attached lugs (originals were riveted). The 2 rim types are used with different cast centers and do not interchange. You need plain rims for your centers.

Like Jim says, you have the wrong rims. The new rims are the bolt on type. Sounds like your tractor has the clamp on type. The hubs are different. The clamp on rims are just a plain rim with no brackets except there may be a welded on stop to help keep the rims from sliding in the clamps. I'd ask if the rims can be exchanged for the correct ones.
