Battery for Super A

I have a 1951 Farmall Super A. Should the battery be a 12 volt
or a 6 volt? It has a 6 volt generator but are 6 volt batteries
available? Thanks to all.

Yes 6v batteries are available. A group 1, 6Volt will fit your battery box or the battery location if no box.
Batteries Plus, Interstate and probably others will have them.

When new it was 6 volts + ground. Most any parts store or farm and home place has 6 volt batteries

Depending on where you live they could be hard to find. Only place still making them is here in Iowa local price is 49.95 and up depending whose name is on the case and where they are for sale

Most auto parts stores (Advance Auto, Autozone, etc) also carry 6 volt batteries.
