Super A Carter carb rebuild

I went and took the carb apart in my Farmall Super A last night and cleaned it all up. In the process I rounded the slots in one of the brass jets. I got it out but don't want to put it back in. I can't find a complete rebuild for a Carter carb anywhere. Can find a basic rebuild but doesn't have the jets I need. Anyone have a rebuildable Zenith or Marvel-Schebler they want to sell?

Take the carter carb over to the Illinois river and toss it in, then order a new Zenith and your troubles will be over.

I like the way you think.

If you are going to buy Zenith anyway, put the jets back in and buy the Zenith if the Carter needs rebuilding again.

The best thing, not considering the brand, is to leave the jets in and soak the body in carb cleaner overnight then blow out with air. I too have not heard much good about Carter. My 3 C113's luckily have Zenith.

Just my experience, as I have fought the same battle on both a Super C and Farmall 140 which had Carter UT carbs on them when I obtained the tractors. I fought numerous problems and after several rebuilds by me and others with more experience never could get them resolved and working as they should. Bought replacement Zenith carbs for both tractors and problems were quickly solved. It seems certain parts for the Carter UT's are no longer available and unless you spend a fortune rebushing and fabricating new replacement parts you'll never get them working correctly, Hal.
