carb problem

51 cub not getting fuel. will not start without choke all the way out and will cut off when choke push back in.will run and mow with choke full out.Will cut off if choke pushed in. It just started to do this. Normally, starts on half choke and push in and it runs fine. I checked the wire screen that is at end of fitting going into carb, little trash here that i removed. Bottom of carb drain has full stream of gas. See a little trash in glass bowel, will pull this in the AM and check the screen there. What else do I need to check?

If it has the cap over the main jet of that carb pull the cap off and then poke a wire etc into there to make sure the main jet does not have some dirt/rust in it.

Intake manifold has hole in a rusted area?
Intake manifold gasket leaking?
Sounds like main jet has an obstruction?
