LPG tractors

Does anyone here know anything about an Ensign NS regulator on a 650, My tractor runs at idle speed but pops and bangs a high idle. Is it not getting fuel? Could it be spark plugs ???? I had the regulator completly apart and cleaned it, all things look good. Thanks Warren

A friend suggested spark issue. I change points and tractor runs good.

Well i know Ensign is my least favorite regulator, but thats all they used years ago, But if you ever take one apart again, you can use Brylcreem hair groom ,on that diaphram that will soften it up. If that diaphram is cracked there is no way it can give it the right amount of fuel to the engine.
