What is H Shutter Mechanism ?

Bought a set of H shutters, got them un-rustified, and they operate back and forth fairly smoothly. What is the mechanism that operates them from the steering pedestal area? Anybody got a picture? Thanks guys. Looks like the bracket that connects the operating rod etc., has a total fore=and-aft travel of about one inch. Thanks.

Never cranked on one, but i would say about a inch sounds right, I thinks its a little crank that operates off the lower right corner of the Christmas tree.

Yes there was a small crank below right of the light switch and above the brakes where you cranked the shutter open or closed.
