extra engine oil 350 utility diesel

Hello

looks like I am making extra engine oil. I found in a old post the it is cause by a bad main seal in the hyd pump. does anyone have any info on the seal. or what else could be causing this. i haven't found a breakdown of the pump yet.

I think IH has a pretty good online parts, I would go there.

Find messicks farm equipment, then case IH. Then put 350 in model search box. find 350 U, then hydraulics, then # 305 pesco pump. Or if that doesn't match your pump go to Thompson pump. From picture in other post I think you have a pesco but can't see enough to be sure. if you have a original diesel pump disregard seal and other parts at rear of pump in the diagram.

Can be that or it can be a problem in th fuel system leaking diesel into the oil also
