W6 with 24 inch rear split rims, are they available?

I recently picked up a 1941 W6, it has 24 inch split rims on the rear and they are both rotted, are they available anywhere?? how many years did they put 24 inch
wheels on the W6, and will a later 26 inch rim fit?? are they available anywhere?? otherwise a very straight tractor and it runs out good.

All the very early W-6 (and W-4) with rubber tyres had 24 inch, 2 or 3 piece, rims. My 1941 W-4 has them and the the first WD-6 (no 516 built in 1940) has the 24 inch rims. The later W-4 went to 26 inch 1 piece drop-centre rims

the correct tire for a w6 is 16.9x 30" rim. i have a 1944 with split rims but do not even know if its original. just get the 30" rims as they are easy to find. john deere D and early massey harris use the same rims also. you will need 30" hubs though.

Those rear wheels shown in the photograph are those of the early tractors, will take the 26 inch rims or the 26 inch drop-centre rimes. The later tractors with the larger diameter rime used different wheels with almost rectangular openings and not the circular openings of the small wheels.

I have a sw6 ta parts tractor with the double step rim 24 inside diameter but uses a 26 inch tire. it came with 18.4x26 tires. I don't think the center cast was off a w4 because the axel is a different size and probably would not slide on the w6. I took a couple of rims off a old international combine and cut out the centers. I think it was a 715.weird set up.
