Farmall Super MTA Diesel

I need to put a new battery in my Farmall Super MTA Diesel, that I just picked up that didn't have a battery. Looking to get an AC Delco but not sure on the specifics of what kind to get, obviously 12 v but cranking amps?

The largest that will fit in the box. I have a 1100CCA Napa in my SMD.

Since the diesel starts on low compression the size of the battery is not as important as a direct start diesel. I used to have a TD-14A and jump started it many times from my Honda Civic. Had a TD-18 which needed a larger battery. My SMTAD doesn't care what size battery it has.

We use mostly group 31 size. Have a SMTA diesel, Super M Diesel, and MD. They do start on gas/low compression but that starter seems to draw some amperage. A group 24 size is adequate and somewhat shorter than a 31.
