International 140 front hydraulic issue

I have an International 140 and when the tractor is sitting there idling the touch control lever for the front will go down making the front hydraulics go down. As long as I hold pressure on the lever, it will stay up but soon after I let go, it goes down again. Any ideas on what could be causing this. Rear control does just fine.

the friction on the lever is to loose, on the lever shaft there are to nuts locked together loosen them try tighting the inner one it should tighten the friction washer assy, if not you may have to loosen it up and spray the shaft with penetrating oil to free the sleeve between the nut and friction washer assy,also check to see that the friction washer assy still has the fiber washer in it.

The friction washer may only be part or maybe none of the problem. You need to get a manual and adjust the control rod linkage and the
control rod stops that are located at the end of the control rod on the touch control unit per the instructions in the manual.
