to recap my farmall 200 lost all hydro pressure and wouldn't do anything while moving some pallets. i have it torn apart trying to find the problem and i cannot find it for the life of me! i have the box from under the fuel tank off and in pieces and everything looks fine. checked the pump and it looks good. everything looks good! what could be my problem and how could i fix it? need this badly!

thats what i was thinking of doing. the filter was blown apart but i found no peices

Physical testing is the only way I know of getting to the answer. If every part looks perfect, the answer must be that looks are deceiving.
Is the system primed. Assure it is full, park it down hil with the front 18 to 25 inches below the rear wheels. Put 10 PSI in the filler hole with air (tire pump or bottle, not gobs of pressure) run it through up and down 20 times to purge air.
Are you sure the gear on the input shaft is keyed to the shaft. They shear.
Are the gears in the pump turning (open the pump and stick a brass/aluminum wedge in the gears and turn the input gear with a big pliers.)
Can you see that the pressure relief valve is closed by the spring.
Are there any Orings blown off the vaving or piston? If these are assured, it should work.. I realize your need. Some things need to be looked at from a new perspective. Can you find a local YT helper to take a look. Jim

the key on the pump was good. i guess i will put it together and try it. the o rings all look good. i filled it with oil about an hour before it quit but it was working fine. but how do i know if the relief valve is good?

This image will show parts 18 19 20 which are the pressure Safety Valve. The spring should be good and neither broken nor worn on its sides. The sleeve and valve must be free to move and seal the port as intended, no scratches or binding. Jim

If it was full and working, then suddenly quit, the problem is usually the orifice/screen for the pressure regulator. Check number 30 on the page JAN pointed you to.

I installed a new clutch in my Super C a couple years ago and you have to remove the steel lines on the pump. Could'nt get the hyd. to prime, took a little plug out of the pump top and used an oil can to fill with hyd. oil, then work hitch lever back and forth and fill again, That plug has a spring and ball under it that will try to jump out.

my two 200 s both pump into the motor.tryed speedy sleeves slowed it down but did not stop it...one worse than the other ..one
runnin hot one is cool to touch ....the cool one worse than the hot one.......keep on tryin.....dewy
