fast hitch opinions?

what is the common senses as to the fast hitch? Can I use a 3 point plow and will it function properly? if not is the fast hitch plow any good? I don't know a lot about the fast hitch but the fields i have seen don't with a 3point on a fast hitch look poorly plowed. so will a 3 point work properly on a fast hitch with an adaptor and is the fast hitch plow any good?

The ability to plow with a 3-pt plow & adapter with a fast hitch tractor is directly proportional to the quality of the 3-pt plow & adapter, and the operator. A fast hitch tractor with a fast hitch plow does a great job of plowing. Dad had a 450 with 4F-43 plow I think it was, fully mounted, was a great plowing tractor/plow after using an M and #8 3-14 for years. Had to put 500+# of weight on the nose of the tractor to keep the frt wheels on the ground.

It is really hard to beat a fast hitch plow when it comes to doing a good job. As long as your hitch is adjusted for the dead furrow and your tire is moved to the correct position for the plow you are using they do an amazing job. I have 3 fast hitch plows. 2, 3 and 4 bottoms for my tractors. I have 3 pt adaptors for the finishing mower and a rototiller but never dreamed of putting a plow on it. So I cannot answer about the 3pt plow part just the fast hitch plow.

The draft control can t work worth a hoot with adapters. The FH is great, IH screwed up or there would not be a 3 point today(would not licenses it to other makes.)

I prefer the fast hitch. Easy and quick. I prefer a fast hitch plow to a 3pt. Just seems more "attached"

It's a shame that they didn't license it out. For most things, unless you have a hydraulic top link, the fast hitch works better.
