Farmall B governor rockshaft

Decide to remove the carb so it can be thoroughly cleaned. In the process of removal, I tried not to twist or break anything. Well the connection hole on the governor lever was wore down to the less than a 1/16 inch thick. Salvage yard wants $50 and Case IH wants $173.

Does anybody have a good cheap fix?

It should be able to be brazed or welded.

You mean that lever on the left side of governor shaft, just looked at my Super C. That's some kind of pot metal and pretty thick on the end, mine doesn't seem to be worn at all, wonder if you could drill it out and epoxy a bushing in.
Haven't been to my local IH junkyard in a couple weeks, maybe I'll stop tomorrow and see what he wants for one.

Thats sort of the going price now maybe a little high there were new ones for sale some time ago check with Steiners or other vendors.
