H bolster bushing again

My new lower bolster bushing for the H is split, I can almost pus it in by hand. Has any body else run into this? The part no. is 49658dar . I had to chisel the old bushing out. I have grooves wore into the old bushing surface on the shaft. I guess it's time for a replace ment shaft. Thanks DTK.

The grooves are the biggest issue. The shaft can be built up. The bushing is probably OK. Jim

I would take it to a machinist and have it built up. Those shafts can bend but yours is probably ok if it came out easily.

I don't remember seeing any bent shafts but have changed quite a few broken ones. If the lower bushing gets too much wear on it the shaft will flex, especially when using a loader.
