Farmall H brake bands

Bought replacement brake bands (made overseas of course) for my H and they don't look like the original ones I removed. I use this tractor and brakes are kinda important. Not wanting to do this job several times, does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Get them from CaseIH. May not fit perfectly but should be usable. I bought some several years from CaseIH, they did not appear to fit perfectly but are ok.

Anyplace that relines truck or industrial clutches and brakes can do them. They can even put on a thicker lining to make up for a worn drum. Northeast Brake and Equipment Warehouse in Minneapolis does them, but there must be someone closer to you.

Different? How so? The originals I think may have had the loop riveted, the new ones will be spot welded. Old linings were riveted on, new ones will be bonded. If they are the same size and shape I would not be afraid to use them.

The new aftermarket bands I received are formed perfectly round with the linings bonded to the steel out to each end approximately 2 inches from the anchor points. The original bands I removed from the tractor has one end flat for about 4 inches before the band starts to go round. My fear with the aftermarket bands is that once installed, the rounded portion will straighten when applied thus breaking the friction lining from the steel band and cause binding or adjustment problems.

Here's how I finally figured out how to adjust my H brakes.
To Adjust / Tighten Up Brakes;
[To Move Brake Pedals Closer to Transmission Cover; ]
 Un-do bottom locknut on bottom of brake drum housing.
 Re-adjust bottom square-head bolt up firmly, then back down ~ ½ / ~ ¾ turn.
 Tighten the bottom locknut BUT NOT TOO TIGHT, you may rip it out.
 Remove cotter pins from clevis pins.
 Un-do the rear portion of the long brake springs.
 Remove the clevis pins to free up the adjustment clevis.
 Thread IN [DOWN] the clevis to tighten up the brakes. [1 full turn moves brake pedal ~ 1/8” closer to transmission cover.]
 Reassemble.
 Do each side evenly, so tractor brakes evenly left/right.
