I have a 1939 f20 with cast centers and 36 inch split rims. The rims are shot and I remember seeing an f20 once that had 38 inch rims off an m on the cast centers. Has anyone ever done this that can give me an idea how to do it? Thanks

I had an F20 like that. A prior owner welded Loops to rims to bolt to the wheel.Similar to a Cub/A. The 'loop' was acctually just a piece of 1/2" flat steel(cut with a torch) with a hole (torched) in it. An 'ear' acctually. Pretty crude, but it worked.

I put 38 inch rims onto my '39 F-20. Used bolts and clamps from H or M farmall, need 8 vs 6 on the M. F-20 casting is about 1/2 inch thinner than the M castings so you will need to shim the wedges accoringly, good luck, Mike.
