Quick 460 question.

My 460 has three hydraulic control levers. The one closest to the tractor body has a detent in up and down position. The other two do not. The three levers do not fit tightly together. there is more room between them than I think there should be.

Should all three controls have detents? There is no rear lift on tractor but shortest lever has the hole in it for the (tel e depth?) pieces.
Thanks
Jay

They could, but it depends on the valve. In my experience the inner lever was normally for the Fast hitch, which used a pressure related return to neutral. Jim

My 460 has 3 levers also and all have detent. There are what they call "garder springs " under the caps on the frt.of the valves that will break and will not give detent. They are a bugger to install.

the two inner levers are for the ports in the middle of the tractor, usually for a loader or to run back for a trailing implement, the outer is usually for the quick hitch the little round thing is to help give you a stop for the depth of your quick hitch
