M grille insert

I recently ordered a grille insert for my M. Original is missing of course. When received it does not have the little bar or whatever holds it in place. The screw is in the center of course but no way to fasten in place. Do they normally come without or what do others do?

Just make one. Get a small piece of metal. drill a hole in it.Weld a nut to it so you dont have to remove the grill to install.

When I bought a replacement one for my H it came with the little bar. You could call the place you bought it from.

The bar should have been with it.
