200 hydraulic pump

Changed the oil in the 200 yesterday and topped everything else up. It ran good for 6 hours straight when drawing manure. After we finished up it seemed the hydraulic fluid is a tad bit lower and the oil is a tad bit higher. Might just be the way it was sitting but the question is can the pump put hydro oil in the engine and if so what seal and how bad a job is it. The pump is right below the distributor.

Thanks
Clint

Yes it sure can remove the pump and replace the seal its either an o-ring or a seal you wont know till pump is removed. If shaft journal is worn where seal goes you will need a speedy sleeve to repair the shaft or it will just leak again.

Thanks gene once we are done I will pull the pump off and see. Looks like just remove the lines and bolts and pull of right?

top right and bottom left bolt only....the other ones seperate the pump.. the worst part is getting the seal out... other than that its not
bad....dewy

Thanks Dewy, that is a good tip. Might of saved me some headaches. I have a manual and would of checked, but sometimes they forget stuff like that.
