finally got a red one. brought this 1978 1086 home last night. stepped up 17 years from my old rusty 1961 660. holy man, have a cab now and power steering. 6500 hrs. set for life now.

That may break the implements you were pulling with that 660 , as I think you should have twice the power and a beautiful 1086. Do you A/C in that cab ? I like the 86 series but don't have any they are to new for me.

Our 1086 was the spitting image of yours. I thought we had just gotten a Cadillac. A factory cab, A/C, and a radio that wasn't an old fender mount am.

It's a pretty decent tractor. My 1978 1086 has 10,000 more hours than yours and it still earns it's keep though it's not the big horse anymore.

yes it has a/c and a radio, lol. ya will have to widen implements a few ft. will handle 20 ft disc and 24 ft. vibrashank.
