Hey guys,
Does anyone happen to have an actual IHC service manual for a 544 tractor or any other tractor that uses the C200 gas engine ??

I am working on a cylinder head for a customer and the valve seats were pretty much totally destroyed. I have installed all new seats but do not have any reference as to how "deep" to locate the valves so that the valve spring height and rocker arm positions will be correct. The dimension is commonly know as valve stem installed height. I can find this dimension for justa about any other engine know to man except the C200 International. The I&T manual does not list it so my only hope is that the actual IHC manual might.

So anyone have a manual they can look in ?
Thanks in advance,

That is one dimension IH never published that I was able to find and I, being a dealer mechanic, had access to all IH books. Engine rebuild shop have access to a whole lot of specs IH never gave us. Can't remember the name of the outfit, but most engine machine shops subscribe to it. Maybe you have already checked with them. At any rate, I replaced a ton of valve seats in the 6 cylinder engines which that C200 is based on and never had to worry about it but I never increased the depth more than to clean up the bottom. I used to install .015 oversize as the original's were often loose.

This is what you will find in the manual:
