340 2pt works weird

My 340 has a fully hydraulic loader. Has 2 factory handles on the right side and has the 2pt handle along the right side of seat. Question is when I pull 2pt lever back the hitch goes down, when I move it forward the hitch goes up. It is hard to stop it in the middle. Doesn't seem as good as the others I operated in the past. I think it does have another set of hyd hoses out the back if that matters. The 340 is the newer version of the 3pt hyd system. How can I make the 2pt more usable and switch the up and down operation?

I have a Farmall 340, and it does not work like yours does. I have a rear blade for it, and I can stopped it in place between full up and full down. So, yours is not working correctly. Hopefully someone with more knowledge about hydraulic systems can tell you why. good luck.

Sounds like you have a tractor where someone modified the teledepth valve system but didn't do it complete and correct. Do you have any linkage coming from hitch to the valve. If no, does the valve still have levers in one side and out the other. That would be a teledepth valve. I have seen where someone replaced the valve with a regular valve but kept the original friction lever. That makes it mean to operate. H itch should raise when pulling lever toward you If hooked correct. Kind of hard to say what you have hooked up from your description. A couple of pictures of valve, and linkages would help.

I also have a 340 like yours. I wonder how many other little morfedites there are out there, and why they weren't repaired correctly in the first place.

It is the newer version with some kind of Linkage that goes to the ram. The hoses come out of a steel square 2"x4" box behind the seat and go to the ram. When I lift the 2pt lever up the hitch goes down. I will try to get some pictures. I need this fixed soon. .

This is a picture of my 340. Hitch lifts in reverse order. I will try the hose switching again. I tried it once and hitch didn't move I think.
