A farmer friend of mine is asking if that can be done and what all parts are needed from a 56 series tractor to put on a 706. I told him that it was beyond my realm of experience but that I would post it here. Any ideas or anyone done this?

Yep.Done 4 or 5 of them. The only "direct bolt on" is 756 to 706.BUT, a 'kit' from one of the larger ones can be cut/shortened to fit.Cut down the uprights and grind out the original 706 steering support. In fact,I just this last week modifyed a 1066 'kit' to fdot a 706. Takes a couple hours,or less. The complete job can easily be done in less than a day.The 706 shown was changed several years ago.It used a 1256 'kit'.It was my 'first'.
