Just got the decals for my 295 planter. Still missing one for the seed hopper but I'm pretty happy about how it turned out. I replaced the true vee disks and went thru the seed singulators. It's ready to plant this years sweet corn crop. Here's some pics.

That is totally AWESOME!!!!! I would love to have that around here. I am trying to get all my tillage and planting equipment to fast hitch. So far only 2-4 bottom plows and a 4 row cultivator. I found a place in Ohio that has more but will have to save pennies for quite some time to be able to afford their prices. $1200 for a 12' field cultivator $1800 for a 9' disk. I have never seen a 4 row fast hitch corn planter. I see 2 row up here in Michigan occasionally but really would like a 4 row. Are you able to adjust it down to 30" or 28" rows? It is a beautiful piece equipment.

Thanks. With a little modification it can be done. I put it on 36" rows because on 30"s the units would bolt on right where the fast hitch prongs do. And it's easier to walk down 36" rows than 30". This originally was a 6 row 30" planter with a double toolbar but someone bought the other 2 units before I got it. Originally just wanted a sweet corn planter so I didnt have to clean out my big planter but you know how it goes, one thing leads to another...

Those old planters do a great job considering the technology. I use a pull type four row Allis to do my sweet corn. It isn't quite that shiny but is original. I don't think the fertilize boxes were ever even used as they still look new. It puts out a great crop for us. This year I put the mounted cultivators on the A and am going to cultivate it. I haven't cultivated rows in a coon's age. It sure is easier to pull in the field with a 60 foot sprayer. I am only going to do about 12 rows, so it will be Sunday afternoon playing. I hope I still don't hear someone yelling in my ear if I whipe out a row.
