We planted my grass hay (Orchard grass mix) used a broadcast seeder and dragged it in.
This was about 2 weeks or so ago. 3 days later we got 2" of heavy rain. The soil has a lot
of clay. The ground formed a crust and the seeds are not emerging. If you dig down with a
knife you can see the sprouts. Today I went over it with the roller it has sharp edges. DO
you think it is a total loss? We have 6 IH tractors.
