I ordered a fuel gauge off ebay. I just received it tonight and it is identical except it has the post type connectors on it and mine were the spade type. Really can't see any difference it will make other then changing the wire ends. Am i correct on this or is there something different about it?

Sorry forgot to mention it's for my 706 diesel.
Thanks

Heck, no need for specialized connectors or any cutting. Just crimp the right spade end on a short piece of wire, and the right eyelet style on the other end. Slip a piece of heatshrink over the spade joint or wrap with electrical tape. Done-done.
