Water in Oil on Super A

Checked the dip stick and the radiator on the Super A. Oil up a quart and white, radiator down. So where is the water getting into the oil?
I have known for awhile that the engine needed an overhaul since it would smoke badly when first starting up. Probably a bad valve guide.
Now I have water in the oil. Was hoping to push this off till I got the haying done this season and then put the A in the shop to do the rebuild. Wondering if a bottle of bars leak might solve the problem temporarily to get through the season or do I need to pull some other projects out of the shop and put the A in.
Is this a head crack?
Bad Head gasket?
Not sure if A has the sleeves that might be leaking?
THoughts?

Personally with water in the oil I would put it in the shop now and pull the head and inspect it. It is not hard to do the top end of one of these tractors in frame. Take the head off and have it tanked and magna fluxed for cracks. It is not terribly expensive. Last one I had done around here I think was $150.00. Get a gasket set and rings on order and you can have it torn down and back together in about a week maybe even a couple days if you get the head back quickly. I would not risk destroying the lower end with water when it is such a simple and relatively quick fix to do the top end.

Might want to pull the plugs see if any are wet. Then you might want to drop the base, fill the radiator with water, let it sit awhile and see if the O-rings at the bottom of the sleeves are wet.

Big odds are the o-ring is leaking at the bottom of the sleeve pull the pan and then look at the bottom of each sleeve mite be a day or so but huge odds thats where the leak is. To fix you needto pull head and pistons then sleeves and i would replace all four while its down. No need to pull head but do pull the pan. Make sure the radiator is full have engine warm then drain oil and pull pan as when the engine is still warm leak at the sleeve mite be easier to find.
