working the garden with the cub and SC, does anyone know if purplehull peas will take a wet foot. i got a low spot in the garden and was wondering if i could put peas there till the texas hot, dry weather hits?

I plant deep and wet as soon as its warm enough and relatively dry enough to get a tractor in. I have gumbo clay. I plant flat. If I hill it, it'll get too dry later on. I'm just outside Houston TX.
