L.P. Gas Question

On a 450 L.P. gas, is the original Carburetor [Ensign] does that restrict the power/compared to a Impco brand carb? Just curious if i should change the carb when i change the regulator?

Yeah but my vaporiser has a crack in it, and no parts for Ensign. You have enough RPM's, Mines a little short, it should run about 620 on the pto, high idle right?

It's a company that's called Beam or Bean, and that will work with the present carburetor, but if u want to put on a diff carb, for more power,or whatever, than u need to buy both from Impco, as i understood!

I don't think they have a mixer that is a
direct replacement. I once used a model J-2
on my 450 but it wasn't a happy marriage.
Got me by though! Hugh

I would think a model E might be a better fit on the 450. Just be sure to get the correct spring so that the correct water column vacuum is right for your mixer.
