Ok, let me set the stage for my question. Motor is off the tractor and on a stand. Getting ready to strip it in preparation for full overhaul. Before I wrapped up last night, I took off the oil pan and thought I would remove the oil pump as well. Only 2 bolts on the pump housing, right? Well, I removed the two bolts but it wouldn't budge. I looked at the parts diagrams and it doesn't look like there's anything holding it in other than the two bolts nearest the crankcase wall.
Am I missing something? Is there a trick to removing it? I only played with it for a few minutes but it wasn't moving at all... given my luck, I didnt try to force it either...
thanks in advance,
