ih planter seed plate info

i see on ebay different ih planter plates all with different numbers. on the old h i had, i just had 1 set of plates. is there a publacation that tells what each plate number means and what planters they will fit?

John Deere has a planter plate manual PC-286, but not sure about IH. IH had plate information in the planter manuals. You can learn a lot about planter plates at http://www.lincolnagproducts.com/. Lincoln Ag is the source for the plastic planter plates.
