460 utility steering arm broken

My son has a 460 utility and he broke the steering arm that attaches to the steering gear on right side. It had been broken before and broke in the same place. We have looked for hours online and can't find a new or used one. Would prefer a used but would settle for anything. Does anyone know where we could one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

our 350U has a broken arm that was welded in 1962. (I broke it driving 10mph over a frozen puddle that fell through stopping the tire against 4 inches of ice. OOPS Nickle rod was used with deep v preparation. Jim

The bates corporation in Indiana has them. Just ordered 1 for my 460u

Check with David Moore in Hazel Green Alabama. As of a couple years ago he had a few 460 U tractors.

Just a tip on scrounging for used parts: Because there are so many parts, keeping inventory in a tractor salvage yard is generally a logistical nightmare, so you're not going to find much in the way of used parts listed online. Even the big salvage yards like Bates only have partial listings. It's best to call and talk to a live person.
