Friend has a f20, 1939 cast center rear wheels,pto extension with shield,swinging drawbar with side hill hitch,belt pulley,belly hydraulic pump with 2 way Christmas tree valve good metal. The bad needs tires,manifold and engine tight. Been stored inside. What's a fair price? Thanks jim.

Every piece on that tractor has a value , if you are wanting to restore you shouldn't have to look for much . Price is never fair on red tractors , I think 300 - 1200 depending on how long you want to advertise it.
 
I am not interested in it, he has asked me if I would help him sell the remaining tractors from his dad's estate. He has a 45 m parts tractor I am getting for some chasis parts I need, there is also a 52 m with factory disc brakes and mounted cultivators, 46 m with live hydro,m&w clutch,power steering and hm 110 sickle mower, 49 m with m&w 9 speed and 234 picker. Has a h and 2 other m's that I think he is going th o get running before he sells. Just trying to figure out fair prices.
 
It is hard to say on a fair price not running, but there are a lot of desirable parts there and I would be interested but my truck just puked the transmission on sunday .
 
between the brake peddles, hydraulics, drawbar, sidehill, and PTO, there is $500-$700 at least in parts. Add another $800-$1000 for the tractor. There's your starting point.

Also, on the manifold. Is just the top broken, or it is all rotted out? That all fuel manifold is a rare item, and costly if you want to buy one in working or close to working order.

At the end of the day, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I personally would start at $1700, and add OBO to the ad. First $1500 offered would be trailering it home.

PS. add another $400 for the late cast rear wheel centers and rims.
