rear axle hub

looking for info on removing rear axle hub to replace the gasket on the rear axle carrier and rear outer axle oil seal. your help is appreciated. this is on a 1956 international 300 utility tractor with a independent power take-off and torque amplifier.

Not real familiar with that model, but if it is held in place by a large bolt in the center of the hub simply remove the bolt and pull the hub out. Replace the seal. (Probably remove the wheel first!)

What you said sounds correct. I did both hubs on my 350U. One hub
came off fairly easy and the other one I needed a puller on.
